One of the things I find the most important in my day to day is grounding. The reality is I will spin out from anxiety and overwhelm with all I have to do if I have not taken the time for me. The time to clear my mind, center myself and return to my knowing. All will work out and it will work out better than I can imagine.
If I lose this space of knowing I quickly come off kilter. Frazzled. Snappy. Spinning my wheels and accomplishing next to nothing.
There are multiple ways to come back to root. It can look like eating a clean meal, going on a walk, talking with a friend, a bath, journaling, dancing like no one is watching.
This weekend I have reached for all of those. But as I entered my work week I quickly saw how I can pile my plate sky high in order to see all that I accomplish. Guess what gets left out of that list?
Me maintaining space and appreciation for me. Taking time to root and ground in, that’s where the spaciousness occurs, where I can create, and where I can accomplish.
Its so easy to check out on ourselves in order to attend to the laundry list of to-do’s.
Today I had the awareness of how I had been choosing all of those to-do’s over making sure I was centered first. I was aware of how that had not been working and lending itself to more burn out and then I was aware of another choice.
In came my essential oils. Angelica has been referred to as the oil of angels because it evokes peace and calming. Envision is a magical blend of black spruce, geranium, orange, lavender, sage, and rose. All of which help to evoke creativity, resourcefulness and the strength to achieve dreams. Mixed with peppermint which helps to awaken the senses and bring energy into the day.
If incorporating oils and other holistic modalities calls to you in raising your root> don’t hesitate to reach out I would love to discuss options.
